I was first attracted to this scene because its stillness. Even though there's is lot going on around her (lots of books), she just sits there working quietly, but diligently on the computer. I love that sense of serenity and untroubledness. I also love the way she uses a modern day invention to look up an old one: her favorite book. I just couldn't help but paint it.
